Walkfest success

by Shane Sody

Glorious autumn weather greeted hundreds of appreciative Adelaide bushwalkers and friends at the 2024 Annual Walkfest, on Sunday 14 April in Belair National Park.

This was the first time the Adelaide Park Lands Association had been represented at Walkfest, and with such a warm and friendly reception, we’ll certainly be back next year.

South Australia’s bushwalking clubs and Walking SA come together each year to present a range of guided walks and hikes, along with an expo of walking clubs and outdoor retailers.

APA was there to introduce would-be walkers to our range of Guided Walks and Trail Guides in your Open Green Public Adelaide Park Lands.

We were also pleased to answer lots of questions about how best to Explore and Protect your Park Lands.

Out Guided Walks are scheduled events, but our Trail Guides are available all the time, so that you can follow a Guide around any part of your Open, Green, Public Adelaide Park Lands.

If you missed out on seeing us at Walkfest, you can find out about our Guided Walks and Trail Guides here on this website:
