Rare imagery of former "Koala Farm"

ABC-TV archivists have unearthed a rare 1956 home video of a long-forgotten former tourist attraction in your Adelaide Park Lands.

The so-called "Snake Park" and "Koala Farm" was located within Red Gum Park / Karrawirra (Park 12) from 1927 until its closure in 1960.

Now, ABC-TV Archives has unearthed a rare 1956 home movie, in colour but without sound, featuring a family visit to the "Koala Farm" as it existed at the time. The home movie was taken by Barry Mills of Mildura.
