I live in an apartment as many of us do and many more of us will do in the future.

Adelaide Park Lands are my walking trail. But after suffering cancer my walking trail became my life awakening trail.

Being weak after treatment I slowly walked through the Parklands collecting dried plants and other natural materials I used as printing plates for my art work.

I walked and printed for many months and slowly recovered my strength, passion and inspiration for my art work.

I have much to be grateful for and our parks around our city is one of them.

Many relief prints have been made, I have chosen this print as a metaphor for coming out of the darkness and the feathers to remember to be inspired to fly.
