Within ‘Wita Warra’ in the South Park lands is a small enclosed beautiful garden designed by Japanese landscape architects, after Adelaide and the Japanese city of Himeji became sister cities in 1982.
Since its inception, the garden has become for many a place of contemplation where one will see and find a deep spiritual connection to nature for the Japanese people.
This spiritual connection to the sea land , places , sacred sites , etc can also be seen and felt within the indigenous culture and society over many generations and this is a part of a concept refereed to as the ‘ Dreaming ‘
