This work depicts the big flowering gum trees where mob gather around and have a yarn with family.

The big gum trees are shelter, here in Adelaide Park Lands, just like at home, out bush. I have lived in Adelaide since I started boarding at high school.

When I would go out bush looking for honey ants, I would see the flowering gums.

The gum trees are an important resource for Anangu, the roots , the wood, the leaves, the ash.

Seeing gum trees in Park Lands make me miss home and inspires me to connect with culture.
