This park is regarded as the 'jewel in the crown' and is one of the most popular spots within Adelaide's Park Lands with almost half a million visits each year.   It contains a playground, BBQ facilities and a rose garden. It hosts or supports major events throughout the year, including the Adelaide Fringe, Adelaide 500 and Tour Down Under.   It was controversially developed in 2017 by placing the O-Bahn busway extension partially underground through this Park.
