Recent rains have re-established green groundcover at the new wetlands under construction in the southern part of Victoria Park / Pakapakanthi (Park 16).
Work is progressing on schedule, with the wetlands due for completion by the end of this year.
Thousands of seedlings and bushes are due to be planted over the winter. See the current progress from a birds-eye view. (41-second video).
