This little-known park just west of the Montefiore Rd bridge is a looming battleground, with two radically different visions for Adelaide's future. Will we be the City with a world-unique garland of Park Lands? Or will we continue to attack "Green Adelaide" with more huge buildings?

  • Live music from the "Seratonins"

  • Catering from "Coffee and Crepes"

  • Speakers from the State Government, the State Opposition, the Greens and the City Council have been invited to outline to you their vision for this Open Green Public site.

Come and relax in a beautiful Park Lands setting on the Torrens Riverbank while you still can - before the Marshall Liberal Government buries the Park under tonnes of concrete.

Come and see the River Red Gum trees, the Moreton Bay fig trees, the Aleppo Pines, the Blue Gum trees and others that will be bulldozed if the Premier has his way.

Listen to ideas from some of the speakers about how we the people can combat this proposed Park destruction,

Enjoy the music. Have a free coffee from 'Coffee and Crepes'

12 noon to 2,00pm. Booking is free but essential. https://www.eventbrite.com.au/e/save-helen-mayo-park-picnic-rally-tickets-174618447477
