Heavy rain and mud marred the Harvest Rock festival in your eastern Park Lands on 19 and 20 November.
Grassed areas of Rymill Park / Murlawairrpurka (Park 14) and King Rodney Park / Ityamai-itpina (Park 15) were churned up by the crowd.

Any event held in the Park Lands requires organisers to make good any damage, and the City Council has flagged that will certainly apply to the Harvest Rock organisers.

Full remediation will take some time, because another crowd will descend upon the same Parks next weekend, for the Adelaide 500 motor racing event. This will require a temporary solution to the mud: most likely a grass matting, and/or fake grass, until after the motor racing event concludes on Sunday 4 December.
Meantime Tourism Minister Zoe Bettison is talking to the event organisers with the aim of bringing back the Harvest Rock festival next year, and turning it into an annual event, like WOMADelaide, exclusive to Adelaide.
