Art Prize: Which category for you?

All entries to the 2023 Adelaide Park Lands Art Prize are in the running for the $20,000 first prize.

Many entries will be eligible for a separate category prize, as well. In fact, it's possible that a single artwork could win in more than one category.

The Adelaide Park Lands Art Prize is one of the most inclusive Art Prize competitions in Australia, with prize categories for young artists, emerging artists of any age, First Nations artists, and categories for photographs, and digital art, as well as eight separate "Judges Commendation" prizes.

In each one of these categories, prize money of $2,000 is offered.

But you can't win if you don't enter.

There is only one month left to get your entry in to the 2023 Adelaide Park Lands Art Prize.

Finalists will be selected from the entries received by 31 January.

The entry fee is $50. However, some lucky artists have received gift card vouchers, for free entry.

Over the festive season, we gave away thirteen of these gift card vouchers. They were offered as random draws to those who posted on the Park Lands Art Prize Instagram feed between 20 and 24 December. The other three were 'golden tickets' through art-prizes.com.

Drawn from @adel_parklandsart Instagram followers from 20 to 24 December, these artists have won free entry to the 2023 Adelaide Park Lands Art Prize. We hope that they take advantage of their free entry, and submit their art work by 31 January!

What's the theme?

The theme is simple: to Inspire – to capture the essence of one or more elements of the Adelaide Park Lands as an inspiration for the artwork; and/or to inspire viewers of the artwork.

How you interpret that theme is up to you, as an artist.

How do you enter?

Simple: Read the terms and conditions, and put in your entry at www.parklandsart.com

Entries close 31 January 2023
