The name "Kadaltilla" is probably not very well known.
It's a Kaurna name that the Adelaide Park Lands Authority has given itself. It means “Green place / Green lands / Parklands.”
After years of keeping a relatively low-profile, Kadaltilla has recently become active on social media, sharing information about its meetings, biodiversity, features of your Park Lands, and profiling each of its Board members.
See Kadaltilla's recent videos and Park Lands information on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/KadaltillaAdelaideParkLandsAuthority

You can help us (and Kadaltilla) to share images and videos of your Adelaide Park Lands. If you’ve captured a great photo or have some news to share, just use the hashtag #adelaideparklands or tag us:
Thanks to dozens of volunteers, we have an enormous on-line library of photos of your Park Lands, collected since 2014. The library is constantly being expanded with a new #adelaideparklands #picoftheday every day.

A Park Lands Authority or an Association?
Occasionally there is some confusion between us (APA, the Adelaide Park Lands Association) and Kadaltilla / the Park Lands Authority.
Obviously both organisations have a keen interest in your Park Lands but the two bodies have very different functions and roles.
We (APA) are a grass-roots non-profit community organisation, with activities under the headings "Explore", "Inspire", "Protect" and "Restore"
In contrast, Kadaltilla/ Park Lands Authority is created by a law, the Adelaide Park Lands Act 2005.
Despite its name, the Authority has no real authority. Its role is to give advice to both the City Council and the State Government about how to manage your Park Lands. Despite the best efforts of its Board members, there is a long track record of successive State Governments simply ignoring the Authority's advice and its Park Lands planning.
That’s one of the reasons we argue that the Adelaide Park Lands Act is broken.
This year we have contacted all political parties, urging them to end the “Whack-a-Mole” game which continues to plague your Park Lands, starting with a comprehensive review of the Adelaide Park Lands Act.
This is not intended to be a reflection on the efforts of any Kadaltilla Board members, but it is obvious that the legislation under which they are appointed is not effective in protecting your Park Lands.
