Do you Love Your Adelaide Park Lands?
Do you have a flair for:
journalism? or
photography? or
video making? or
editing? or
social media?
If so, we need your help in 2025.
Our two most prolific contributors in recent years are both stepping away in the New Year,
To replace Shane and Carla, we need volunteers to act as reporters / correspondents, each with a special round. You can work with a friend or colleague, and choose from options such as:
reporting What’s On in your Park Lands (events and activities);
profiles on interesting people enjoying Parks;
helping to manage the #adelaideparklands #picoftheday feed on social media;
City Council meetings, reviewing agendas and minutes for decisions that affect your Park Lands;
features about public artworks, or plants, or social history etc; or
Short, snappy Park Lands videos for our TikTok and Instagram feeds.
These reporters also need one or more editors, to review, insert hyperlinks, etc and publish their work, as well as one or more social media moderators to keep an eye on, and respond to public comments.
