There has been a flurry of construction and maintenance work in your Park Lands over the past few weeks and months, with much of it continuing.

Some projects have been completed; others are well behind schedule, and some are just a mystery!

Plans are being drawn up for a new mini-golf course on your Possum Park / Pirltwardli (Park 1)

The idea being developed is to increase visitor numbers to the City Council’s golf courses on Park 1 by trying to attract younger people and families to play mini-golf on a new purpose-built facility.

A unique treasure trove of images has emerged of your Adelaide Park Lands as they looked 62 years ago.

Queenslander Barry Christiansen has shared a family photo collection from 1961 featuring dozens of rare colour images from what was a childhood family trip to Adelaide.
