Would you like to be a Tour Guide, to lead Guided Walks through your Adelaide Park Lands?
We are looking to recruit a handful of volunteer Tour Guides to help people "Explore" various parts of your Open Green Public Adelaide Park Lands.
Exposing the public to the beauty and history of your Park Lands is one of our core "Explore" activities.
Helen Hutton
Training will be provided by Helen Hutton, a trainer and workshop facilitator with over thirty years experience in a wide range of industries including business, management, retail, local government, marriage celebrant, fitness and hospitality.
She was a lecturer in Business Studies at TAFE for 22 years and is a published poet, editor and active member of the Friendly Street Poets.
Helen is an active member of the Adelaide Park Lands Association. She provides photos of your Park Lands for our various media channels from her weekly walks and the tours she leads for Parks 1 and 26.
Subject to successfully completing our training, you may be invited to represent the Association and your Adelaide Park Lands, on different Guided Walks throughout the year.
If so, you'll be provided with an APA T-shirt, to represent the Association and your Adelaide Park Lands. But first, the training!
